The Social & Political Debate Society is focused on promoting debate on the important topics of our time. We welcome all views and opinions and believe that challenging our beliefs is the best way to think, as well as determining to understand other points of view. We aim to bring in an array of speakers to offer members a greater understanding of issues around us from equality to climate change. Additionally, we are aiming to host 'Open Forum' sessions, in which members can submit topics to present and debate and regular debates in local pubs, which we plan to host weekly.
