ELECTIONS INFORMATION

All Clubs and Societies must hold elections for their new committee members. The newly elected committees will take office on August 01, 2026.

Key Dates:

  • Nominations - 18 March to 15 April
  • Voting - 17 April to 24 April
  • Vote count and publishing of results - 27 April

After voting closes, votes will be counted by and results published online on this page and all candidates will receive an email notifying them of this

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Choose a society you are a member of, and a position you want to stand for
  2. Log in to your student account
  3. View the positions above
  4. Submit your nomination and write your manifesto
  5. Share with friends and campaign for votes!

Key Requirements

  • Elections must be conducted online through the Union website
  • Elections are facilitated by the Campus Team
  • Each group must elect at least a President and Treasurer to continue for the next academic year
  • Please note, that elections held outside this official process are not allowed

Handover Period

  • Current committees will remain in post until July 31 2026
  • New committees take office on August 01 2026
  • Incoming committees will be contacted from May 1st to start arranging their official start in the new academic year.
