PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

At ARU Peterborough, students have the opportunity to join a range of university committees that help shape the academic and student experience. These include the Academic Board (AB), Peterborough Quality Assurance Committee (PEQAC), the Peterborough Student Experience Committee (PSEC).

Each committee plays a vital role in areas like curriculum development, student feedback, academic quality, and strategic planning. By joining, you’ll represent the student voice, contribute to meaningful decisions, and gain valuable experience in leadership and governance. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE OF COMMITTEE REP

As a committee rep, you'll take on a variety of important responsibilities, including:

  • Attending Committee Meetings: Represent your peers at these meetings, voicing student feedback and advocating for improvements. These take place oncer a Trimester.
  • Gathering and Presenting Feedback: Proactively seek feedback from students across your faculty and present it to faculty staff.
