Welcome to the ARU Cardiology & Cardiothoracic Society (CCTS) page. We are a society with an interest in this field of medicine that has excelled in delivering high-quality experiences to its members. Our society welcomes all, whether you are interested in cardiology and would like to pursue it as a career or someone with no exposure to this field. We will constantly aim that you gain knowledge and learn more about cardiology through our events.
CCTSoc has a number of goals:
1. Widening interest and understanding through events.
2. Journal clubs that appreciate the importance of being able to analyse and critic papers. You will also get the opportunity to present your work.
3. Provide a network of Cardiologist & Cardiothoracic surgeons to shadow.
4. Helping you build your portfolio (since Cardiothoracic surgery is one of the hardest specialities to get into in medicine).
