Our society is all about emergency medicine. It is an exciting and fast-paced environment in the healthcare setting and includes a range of skilled healthcare professions, such as: emergency nurses, doctors, paramedics, physician associates and healthcare assistants.
The society will focus on delivering teaching around emergencies in hospital and public with a focus on life saving skills (BLS), increasing awareness of careers in A&E, provide opportunities for pre-hospital care and exposure to A-E scenarios.
Some of the events we want to run:
1. Teaching sessions delivered by professionals e.g. consultants on emergency medicine topics.
2. Attending national conferences on emergency medicine
3. BLS sessions
4. Trauma simulations
