Hi! We are the teddy bear hospital society, trying to help young people be less scared of healthcare! This includes fear of doctors, dentists, nurses, paramedics and more. Our aims are to visit school (mainly primary) in order to:
-teach basic first aid
-teach basic knowledge of the body
-alleviate healthcare concerns
-demonstrate how to contact emergency services
-emphasise the importance of healthy living
-build a bridge between children and healthcare
-highlight mental health awareness
We are a society with unique activities and we invite people from all courses to join us! We also have social events planned so we can get to know you guys and just have fun!
