ELECTIONS INFORMATION

All Clubs and Societies must hold elections for their new committee members. The newly elected committees will take office on August 1st, 2026.

THE RESULTS ARE IN

Key Requirements

  • Elections must be conducted online through the Union website
  • Elections are facilitated by the Campus Team
  • Each group must elect at least a President and Treasurer to continue for the next academic year
  • Please note, that elections held outside this official process are not allowed

Handover Period

  • Current committees will remain in post until July 31st 2026
  • New committees take office on August 1st 2026
  • Incoming committees will be contacted from May 1st to start arranging their official start in the new academic year.

On Friday 8th May 2026, we will be hosting Ready, Set, Lead: Committee Conference. Open to both new and existing committee members, the conference will provide practical guidance on running a successful society through workshops, talks and structured handover discussions. Add the date to your diary!
