ARU Special Senses Society The ARU Special Senses Society brings together students with a shared interest in the fascinating fields of ophthalmology, ENT, dermatology, and beyond. Our aim is to create a community where members can learn, connect, and gain hands-on experiences that go beyond the classroom.
Over the past year, we’ve hosted exciting events including the Anglia Ruskin x Barts National Ophthalmology Conference, an engaging Special Senses Crash Course, and a series of interactive teaching and skills sessions: from clinical workshops to VR-based training experiences.
Looking ahead, members can look forward to a packed programme of opportunities such as:
Dermatology & Ophthalmology Conferences
Speciality Insights and Portfolio-Building Teaching
Christmas Social
Surgical Skills Workshops
Teaching Series
Whether you’re hoping to deepen your knowledge, strengthen your portfolio, or simply enjoy a vibrant student community, the ARU Special Senses Society has something for everyone.
All Clubs and Societies must hold elections for their new committee members. The newly elected committees will take office on August 01, 2026.
