Women In Surgery (WinS)

ABOUT US

Welcome to the Women in Surgery Webpage!

The ARU WiNSS (Women in Surgery Society) started in 2023 and has been growing bigger and better ever since! 💪✨

We’re a community of medical students passionate about surgery - here to support, inspire, and empower women at every step of their surgical journey. From surgical skills workshops & national conferences to pizza parties & games nights, we’ve got something for everyone 🍕🎲🔪

Our mission? To help women feel confident taking their first steps into the world of surgery, while having fun and making friends along the way. 💖

🎟️ Why join?
Becoming a WiNSS member gives you access to free or discounted tickets to our events, priority sign-ups, and a community of future surgeons who’ve got your back.

We can’t wait to meet you and see what you bring to the WiNS family! 👩‍⚕️🌸
