ABOUT US

Celebrating Telugu culture, bringing people together.

About Us

Welcome to the ARU Telugu Society at Anglia Ruskin University! ❤️

Our society celebrates the rich language, culture, traditions and heritage of Telugu-speaking communities, particularly from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. We aim to bring students together through festivals, food, music, dance, traditional games and social events, creating a welcoming community where everyone feels included.

Whether you speak Telugu, have a connection to Telugu culture, or simply want to discover something new, everyone is welcome!

What We’re About

We aim to:

  • Celebrate our culture through festivals, traditions and cultural events.
  • Build a community where students can meet people, make friends and feel at home.
  • Share our heritage through Telugu language, food, music, dance and games.
  • Connect cultures by collaborating with other ARU societies and welcoming people from all backgrounds.

Come along, share your ideas and help us create memorable experiences together!

Mana Telugu • Mana Culture • Mana Community ❤️
