Putting Students in Charge

Deliver a new model of governance.

We will include students in financial decision-making processes using measures like participatory budgeting where we can.

We will invest in our capacity to turn the things students are telling us into tangible wins.

We will have a single work plan for the organisation that we share with students which brings the officers into the heart of our work.

Extending Students’ Rights and Opportunities

We will expand our expertise and capacity for academic policy work and campaigns.

We will support students to engage them in the place they study.

Building and Nurturing Communities

We will reconfigure our physical architecture to promote the opportunity for students to meet each other.

We will identify groups that have yet to come together, provide funding, and support their success.

We will develop a student engagement strategy.

We will work with our students to tackle a civic agenda.

OUR FOUNDATIONS

Multisite Organisation and Functionality

There will be a single set of overarching services run to a high standard.

Every other function will be devolved on a site-by-site basis.

Commercial services will be reconfigured to be about social connection.

Organisational and political leadership will include a wider range of campus leaders.

Each campus will have a minimum service level alongside specific offers for each place.
