WHY

For the past 10 years, our old website served us well. But over time, it became a patchwork, different designs, different ways of doing things, and pages that no longer reflected how students use the Union today.

Every student experience is different. Different campuses. Different courses. Different interests, challenges, and priorities.

We wanted a website that reflects that. One that makes it easier to find the right information, the right opportunities, and the right support without having to search or second-guess.

This new site is built to be clearer, calmer, and more accessible, so you can spend less time navigating and more time doing what matters to you.

    Choose your campus once and everything you see is relevant to you, no mixing, no confusion.

  • A new home for our services

    Everything we offer now has a new, more useful home on this website. Whether that's Campaigns, with more information on starting a campaign and some of the previous successes. The Society Committee hub, with new guides on various tasks you need to do as a committee member. Or our "Uni Deals & Steals" and "Explore your City" pages that give you an overview of where to get the best deals as a student, both online and in your local area.

  • Designed with accessibility in mind

    Improved contrast, readable layouts, and smoother navigation across devices. With most pages featuring a jump bar at the top (scroll horizontally on it on mobile) to quickly get to where you need to be.

  • A fresh look and feel

    A new colour palette and consistent design that feels modern, welcoming, and unmistakably Union.

  • Built to grow

    The platform makes it easier to add new services, tools, and opportunities over time.
