ABOUT US

Welcome to The Aspiring Medics Chelmsford Society. Our society exists to guide, support, and empower students who are working towards a future in Medicine. Whether you’re just beginning to explore the idea or you’re fully committed to applying to Anglia Ruskin University, this is a place where you can gain clarity, build confidence, and grow alongside others who share the same ambition.

We take pride in creating a space that feels both welcoming and purposeful. The journey into Medicine can be demanding and, at times, discouraging. Our role is to make that path clearer, fairer, and more accessible while building a community that values dedication, discipline, and mutual support.

Our mission is driven by four core goals:

  1. Promote Accessibility and Inclusion: Provide fair, tailored guidance so every aspiring medic has an equal chance at pursuing Medicine at ARU.

  2. Foster a Supportive Community: Build a collaborative space where students connect, share experiences, and uplift one another.

  3. Provide Practical, Targeted Support: Deliver focused events—from personal statement workshops to mock MMI sessions—that strengthen every stage of the application process.

  4. Increase Awareness of Pathways into Medicine: Clarify all entry routes into Medicine at ARU, including internal transfers and alternative pathways.
