Hi, my name is Millie Bridgeman and I am a 2nd year Canine Therapy student at ARU Writtle. I am running for Writtle Officer next year, following my previous 2 years of volunteering for the student union as social secretary, organising and helping run events such as the winter ball, Writtle’s got Talent, and the summer festival! Having loved my time as social secretary, I want to step up and become Writtle officer, to try and make more of an impact and change for the university before my final year.
I would do this by:
- Aiming to open conversations with catering wholesalers to improve the quality of food for residential students
- Aiming to create a relaxing environment, both inside and outside for the therapy and assistance dogs on campus
- Aiming to make progress with meal credits for residential students, with the goal of reinstating a 2 meal a day allowance
I would love the opportunity to fulfil these goals and make Writtle a better place to be, as I have loved it so much myself over the past 2 years. If you think that I would be a good fit for this role, please be sure to vote for me as Writtle Officer!
