With the aim to build a campus that's safer, more supportive, and student-focused, I, Athul Roy
Ipe, a BSc Psychology student at Anglia Ruskin University, is standing for Cambridge Officer.
Every student should, in my perspective, feel heard, secured and content throughout their time
at university. If elected, I will place a high priority on getting to know students by engaging with
them through surveys, open forums, and frequent chats so as to pinpoint actual issues and
make sure your opinions are properly heard. I will endeavour to enhance the bond between
students and university administration because, as a psychology student, I value communication
and empathy. I'm committed to improving the quality of life on the Cambridge campus by
advocating for enhanced support networks and raising awareness of mental health issues.
Implementing an on-campus medical support team is an important goal I intend to implement so
that any student who feels ill in campus can receive immediate assistance and guidance. My
goal is to establish a warm, secure, and encouraging atmosphere where students may excel
both personally and academically. I will put in endless effort to accomplish significant
improvements that enhance the overall student experience with transparent and accountable
leadership.
