Hi, I’m Simranjit Kaur, currently pursuing MBA at ARU. With over six years of
experience working closely with students in academic guidance roles, I know
how important it is to have someone who listens and acts. My motivation to run for
Education Officer comes from a simple belief: every student deserves to be heard,
supported, and empowered in their academic journey. I want to be the voice that
turns your concerns into real, positive change.
Vision: Your Voice. Your Education. Your Change.
Turning voices into action!
I will lead the academic representation system to empower course reps and give
them the tools to advocate confidently for their peers. Every concern will have a
champion who listens, understands, and acts.
Fairness in every grade, clarity in every course!
From teaching quality to assessment fairness, I will work with academic departments
to ensure your feedback shapes real change. Transparent marking, clear
deadlines, and meaningful feedback shouldn’t be optional—they should be standard.
Every voice counts. Every idea matters.
Representation isn’t just about committees—it’s about being present,
approachable, and proactive. I will engage with students across all campuses,
creating opportunities for feedback, consultation, and participation.
Building bridges for better education!
I will champion campus-specific and Union-wide initiatives, ensuring your concerns
are part of decisions that affect you. From university committees to external
forums, I’ll be your bridge between students and leadership.
Support when you need it, clarity when you want it!
University life can be stressful—especially during peak assessment periods. I will
push for clear guidance, accessible support, and fair policies to help you
navigate challenges confidently.
My Promise to You-
If elected, I promise to be approachable, accountable, and
action driven. I will listen to every student, represent your concerns effectively, and
work tirelessly to ensure your education is not just about degrees—but about
empowerment, fairness, learning and opportunity.
No More Feedback Black Holes
Within my first three to four months, I’ll launch a confidential feedback form to capture real concerns and ideas around learning, assessment, support, and facilities. The most urgent issues will be prioritised and taken directly into academic discussions, with clear updates on changing. Alongside this, I’ll use the feedback to shape skill-building sessions, peer support initiatives, and academic wellbeing activities that make learning feel more supported and accessible.
